Se7en founder and CEO Christy Essex will join the Vangst leadership team, bringing more than 15 years of staffing experience to help lead regional and national expansion efforts, effective immediately. This marks Vangst’s third acquisition in the past 12 months.
Founded in 2019, Se7en Staffing offers a full suite of services—including temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire placements. The company has firmly established itself as the staffing leader in Missouri’s cannabis market and has rapidly expanded its proven model nationwide. Se7en has achieved double-digit year-over-year revenue growth, driven by a reputation for excellence in cannabis staffing.

The acquisition strengthens Vangst’s position as the category-defining leader in cannabis hiring, increasing the company’s customer base to more than 2,000 businesses. Vangst currently has more than 300,000 workers on its platform and continues to invest aggressively in AI-powered hiring automation, delivering a seamless experience for both employers and job seekers.
